Meet Scout, from California, who’s been living on the road with his owners, Kat and Dirk, for over 20 months. They stayed in the area for one week. We asked them what they liked about the Chaleur Region.
Scout had a few things to say: ”The rocky beaches, tidal pools and a never-ending supply of driftwood sticks- it’s puppy heaven!”
Kat: “Definitely the shore line- being back on salt water was something that we missed terribly, because we’ve been on the road for a long time. This region is just absolutely breathtaking. It’s more beautiful than I thought it would be. Just driving through this area and the whole region, people have been so gracious, warm and welcoming. One of the few places I’m actually sad to leave- usually I’m ready to move on to the next adventure.
The tranquillity of this area … being able to sit outside with this peaceful water and calm … it made me feel very welcome … it made me feel like I was home. I haven’t felt that in a long time.
The sky is BIG. The sky is really big here. The colours are magnificent.”
