Big Chill Duathlon Grand Frisson

The BIG Chill Duathlon - a one of a kind fatbike, snowshoe race hosted by City of Bathurst and Mountain & Fat Bike Chaleur. With a mix of categories we have just the right level of suffering for every appetite!          

NEW for 2020 - Fatbike and snowshoe courses will be separated to keep the fatbike trail bed in top shape! Both courses will consist of a mix of groomed double track and single track trails.   

Here's a breakdown of the different categories and distances for each discipline: 

Duathlon: 

- BIG Chill: 5K snowshoe 15K fatbike, 5K snowshoe 

- Baby Chill: 10K Fatbike, 5K Snowshoe

Fatbike only:

- Full fat: 15 K

- Low fat: 10 K  

Snowshoe only:  

- Fat free: 5 K 

Registration is only $20 plus tax and includes post race meal and plenty of great prizes! 

Want to participate but don't have access to a fatbike? We've got you covered! Bikes are available for rent for $25 each and can be booked on a first come first served basis by contacting ryan.wilbur@bathurst.ca
