Squire Green Golf Club

Located near downtown Bathurst from Riverside Drive on Golf Street. Many golfers appreciate the quality of this course. It is quite possible to play the 9 holes in a time of 2h to 2h30. Perfect to recuperate from a day of work or spending a few hours in the wild during your visit to Bathurst and the Chaleur region! Well laid out, the course is easy to walk but if you wish it is also possible to rent a golf cart.

The 20-year-old Golf Squire Green, professionally designed by Ward Northrup associated to Delray Beach in Florida, stretches up to nearly 3,12 km (3,421 yards). Its 9-hole hilly course is one of the most beautiful and challenging in Atlantic Canada.

Players can enjoy its beautiful landscape with its lakes and streams, picturesque views of ponds and forests. Guaranteed fun!

Like every summer season, the Squire Green offers a junior program for young people who want to discover the sport or progress. Men's night every Tuesday and Ladies' night every Thursday, open to members and non-members. The club also organizes several 9 and 18-hole tournaments for amateurs during the summer.

For nature lovers, at the entrance of the golf course is the start of the "forestry" green trail, 4.1 km long crossing the forest, practicable on foot or by bike.

This trail joins the other green trails of the Chaleur region for a longer walk or ride.

The club's facilities include the ProShop, where you can buy golf essentials, and a restaurant and a bar that can be both privatized on request for events such as afterworks, business meetings, weddings or even private concerts / parties.
